ABOUT

"Whether with a pen & piece of paper, a guitar

or a camera, I just have to tell stories."

                                                              - Stacy Dean

Stacy Dean Campbell is a multifaceted artist known for his work as a country music singer-songwriter, author, and filmmaker. He was born in New Mexico and raised in Texas and Oklahoma, where he was influenced by the storytelling traditions of country and folk music.

In the early 1990s, Campbell gained recognition in the country music scene, releasing albums such as: Lonesome Wins Again , Hurt City , and Ashes of Old Love.

His music was often compared to that of classic outlaw country artists, featuring rich storytelling and a raw, traditional sound. He had several charting singles, including RosaleeEight Feet High, Making Good Time, and A Poor Man's Rose and was respected for his songwriting abilities.

After a break from the music industry, Campbell turned his attention to film and television. He created and hosted Bronco Roads, a docuseries that explored Western culture and cowboy life. The show was well-received and reflected his deep connection to American heritage and storytelling.

As an author and screenwriter, Campbell has continued to craft compelling narratives. Truckstop Candy is one example of his work in the crime noir genre, demonstrating his ability to capture gritty realism and complex characters.

Stacy Dean remains a respected figure in both the music and storytelling worlds. His work, whether in song, film, or print, carries a strong sense of authenticity and emotional depth, often exploring themes of survival, redemption, and the darker sides of the American experience.
